This season (2001-2002) is the first time that we offer management hunts and we had great success, as all hunters killed good management bucks. We offer 3 types of Management Hunts:
First of all we offer the Bronze Medal Management Hunts that consists of a buck scoring from 120-130 B&C and is 6½ years of age or older and must be removed from the herd. The Price of this hunt is $2000 and includes the following: Gun Permit (or you can borrow a gun from the ranch and you will be saved the time of checking a gun in and out of Mexico), hunting license, lodging, tripod stands, and a guide who will tell you what buck you can shoot.
Second, we offer Silver Medal Management Hunts that consist of a buck scoring from 130-140 B&C and is 6½ years old or older. The Price of this hunt is $2500 and includes the following: Gun Permit (or you can borrow a gun from the ranch and you will be saved the time of checking a gun in and out of Mexico), hunting license, lodging, tripod stands, and a guide who will tell you what buck you can shoot.
Last, we offer Gold Medal Hunts that consist of deer scoring over 140 B&C but are not taken by the hunters because they are not Trophy Quality but are 6½ years old or more and must be removed from the herd as they will get no better. The Price of this hunt is not set since the price depends on the bucks B&C Score, and the hunt includes the following: Gun Permit (or you can borrow a gun from the ranch and you will be saved the time of checking a gun in and out of Mexico), hunting license, lodging, tripod stands, and a guide who will tell you what buck you can shoot. These Hunts need to be reserved very early in the year since we only offer a very small number of these hunts.
